The Coconut Grove Film Festival, presented by Voices Beyond Borders Art Foundation, has now celebrated its second extraordinary edition, which took place January 16-19, 2025, at Cinepolis in Miami’s historic and picturesque Coconut Grove.
This year, CGFF brought together filmmakers, artists, and audiences for an unforgettable celebration of storytelling, showcasing 32 remarkable films, including world premieres, U.S. premieres, and a dynamic array of short and feature competitions, student films, and thought-provoking discussions.
From the bustling opening night screening of La Cocina to the captivating panel discussions with industry luminaries like Oscar- and Emmy-winner David Frankel, and the inspiring Bright Futures networking event, the festival was a true reflection of the elegance and creative spirit of Coconut Grove.
CGFF remains committed to amplifying Latin American voices and Florida filmmakers, creating a platform for emerging talents and established creators to connect, share, and inspire. As we continue to grow, we remain grateful to our community, sponsors, and the incredible filmmakers who made this year’s festival such a resounding success.
We can’t wait to see you in 2026 for another celebration of cinema in the heart of Coconut Grove. Thank you for making CGFF 2025 an unforgettable experience.
